In this week’s parsha, which concludes the Book of Bamidbar, Moses recaps the journeys in the desert as a way of bringing closure to the “desert experience” of the Israelites. At the same time, he highlights the anticipated entry and taking possession of the Land of Israel. In this podcast, we will examine how and why taking possession of the Land is so central to Jewish peoplehood and Judaism.
