The Jewish Story Episode 9: The Eve of the Destruction

Posted by Mike Feuer on February 21, 2017
Topics: The Jewish Story, History

In this week’s installment, Rabbi Mike Feuer focuses on the eve of the destruction. As the national vessel begins to fray at the seams and the Temple’s burning looms, the cultural battle within the text of the Torah erupts. When the smoke clears from the destruction it will be the divergent understandings of God’s will as embodied in the text which will serve as the foundation of the future. But for now the battle rages.
