Yom HaAtzmaut: Immediate Pain and Unbounded Joy

Posted by Daniel Landes on April 22, 2015
Topics: Yom Hazikaron, Pardes from Jerusalem, Yom Ha'atzmaut

Special podcast by Daniel Landes on the emotional extremes and contrast between Yom Hazikron and Yom HaAtzmaut. He notes how the holidays go together in that without Yom HaAtzmaut after Yom Hazikaron, the pain and grief would be insurmountable. In turn, we can’t fully celebrate without the remembrance of what it has taken to get us here. These holidays represent the strength, beauty and ability of our nation. Please let us know your comments and thoughts about the podcast, write to us at info@pardes.org.il.
