The Rabbis, in our liturgy, refer to Shavuot as the holiday of the “giving” of the Torah. But in fact, Shavuot is for us, the holiday of the “receiving” of the Torah.

He did his advanced Jewish Studies at Yeshiva University, Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh and Yeshivat Har Etzion, receiving ordination from Rabbi Zalman Nehemiah Goldberg of Jerusalem.
