Kings, Religion and Politics

A Celebration of Rabbi Alex Israel’s book, “II Kings – In a Whirlwind” (Maggid, 2019)

Should religion and politics be mixed?
Listen to Rabbi Shai Finkelstein talk about King Hezekiah and whether Rabbis should comment on questions of national policy.
Listen to Rabbi Alex Israel speak about the biblical figures of Elisha and his assistant Gehazi; how religious institutions can easily be susceptible to the trappings of power, politics and corruption.
We are ever grateful that this publication is co-sponsored by Pardes supporters.
