At the Seder, three unusual rituals coalesce in a single moment – 1. The filling of Elijah’s Cup, 2. the Opening of the door, and 3. the recital of the prayer “Pour out Thy Wrath”. In this week’s podcast Rabbi Alex Israel discusses how all three rituals fuse into a powerful articulation of pain and longing.
