Emor: Building a Sanctuary in Time

Posted by Meir Schweiger on May 10, 2017
Topics: Pardes from Jerusalem, Emor

There are two major themes in this week’s parsha: 1) the sanctity of the priests/priesthood, 2) the sacredness of the festivals. Intuitively, it would seem that they should be connected. In this podcast, Rabbi Meir Schweiger examines each theme independently and then goes on to explore the connection between them. Rabbi Schweiger then shows how this connection highlights the larger message of the Book of Leviticus.
