Class description: During the 2020 High Holy Days, communities around the world were faced with tough decisions: Is it safe to pray together? Can we accommodate everyone? If not, how do we decide who gets a seat? Perhaps we should shorten the service? If so, which parts can we omit? We will travel back to 1831 when these very questions were addressed in Prussia during the Second Cholera Pandemic.
