Class description: Leadership is a quality that can be hard to define, but we all know it when we see it. This class will examine the story of Gideon from the Book of Judges with an eye toward exploring how his strengths and weaknesses shaped his decisions. In particular, we will consider how commitment is a critical quality of leadership, but all along the way, we will be asking – what gives us the courage to lead?
