Posted by Meir Schweiger on May 4, 2015
Topics: Torah, Pardes from Jerusalem, Vayikra (Leviticus), Behar

Please note: In Israel we are reading Parshat Behar this week. The rest of the world is one parsha behind. If you would like to listen to Parshat Emor, click here.

In this podcast, Rabbi Meir Schweiger discusses parshat Behar. The opening section of the parsha discusses the laws of the sabbatical year, which is very relevant this year in the State of Israel. In this podcast, Rabbi Schweiger examines three central ideas of the sabbatical year and connects them with Mount Sinai and the desert experience.
