An Interactive Parsha Experience: Shemot, Seeing the Other

Topics: An Interactive Parsha Experience, Shemot, Torah, Shemot (Exodus)

Parshat Shemot opens up with a new book, a new chapter, a new narrative. While we are reminded the names of our ancestors we are introduced to the new King of Egypt who knew nothing of our history and our tradition. As a result, the Israelites are enslaved for hundreds of years. But with a new character, Moshe, does our next chapter in our history begin, our ultimate redemption.

Download and print this week’s Parsha Experience on Parshat Shemot – Seeing the Other, to learn more about Moshe’s transformation from being a stranger amongst us, to being the leader who takes us out of Egypt. This Parsha Experience is brought to you by the Pardes Center for Jewish Educators.

Do you have teens? Download the Parsha Discussion from Rabbi Alex Israel, focused for an older audience.
