Sukkot: Clouds of Glory or Simply Booths

Posted by Meir Schweiger on October 1, 2017
Topics: Pardes from Jerusalem, Sukkot

The Torah says that we are to sit in the sukka for seven days to commemorate the experience of the Jews when they wandered in the desert, so that future generations know what God did for us then. What are we supposed to be thinking when we sit in the sukka? In connecting to our past, how does the sukka speak to our present? In this podcast by Rabbi Meir Schweiger, we will explore these questions and provide some answers, with the help of a major halakhic work, the Arukh HaShulkhan.
